Our Deepest Fear

By Marianne Williamson

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God.

Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We were all born to manifest the glory of God within us. It's not just some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our one light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.

On the Spiritual Journey
By Kathy Upper

Once you have started on the spiritual journey
You can't go back, you are not the same person anymore
You are bigger and brighter
You know more but also know that you don't know
You know that life goes beyond the physical
You know that it's hidden under the surface of it all
Sometimes you feel like it can be touched but know it can only be felt
It is the journey that never ends as you grow more and more awake

It is the beginning again. Don't you love it? An opportunity to start again. Where to begin?

Actually it all starts with one thing, a thought. I am amazed by the depth of it's power. Have you read, heard or experienced it's strength? By measuring intention scientist have been studying how thought can effect us and our world. (Lynne McTaggert- The Intention Experiment). Yes you can and you do affect your reality with your thoughts. I also suggest you read about the random event generators and how they have measured the power of human consciousness. Through these generators scientist have shown that when we all think about the same thing at the same time we do generate energy and we can effect change.

Dr Emoto has experimented with water molecules and the effect of thought on water. In his movie, Message from Water, he shows a water molecule from Niagara Falls, which is very beautiful by the way. The reason for this, I believe is because we stand in awe of it's power when we see the falls, our Falls. Watch this video for more info.

So as we stand at the dawn of this New Year I suggest that we start to work on thinking about what we truly want. Observe your thoughts, be more aware of negative thoughts and make the choice to think differently.

Learn to meditate, take the time to slow thoughts down and ultimately experience a period of no thought at all. Meditation can help you to be more in control of both your thoughts and your emotions. Be good to yourself in your thoughts, remember your do create your reality with your thoughts. We really take all the credit and all the blame for how our lives turn out.

Choose to think differently in 2011.
